Kat Ruiz Moore is an educator, storyteller, and creative consultant who brings fifteen years of experience, deep cultural roots, and a passion for wonder-filled learning to every space she touches. She is committed to helping learning communities grow with empathy at the center and imagination woven through every choice they make. Guided by a warm, constructivist lens, Kat honors the power of relationships, the wisdom of lived experience, and the belief that we learn by creating, exploring, and making meaning together.
Her work draws from many creative pathways — photography, interior design, authorship, and mindfulness — each one shaping how she helps schools design environments and experiences that nurture emotional safety and spark possibility. Kat supports educators in strengthening documentation, elevating children’s voices, integrating creative expression across the day, and building classrooms that feel alive with curiosity, connection, and courage.
Rooted in her Latina heritage and shaped by the profound influence of her mother’s memory, Kat blends heart, artistry, and research-grounded practice into everything she does.
